Once per year, each individual will submit 5 still
images of nuchal translucency measurements to Cathy Downing along with
a data file containing all the CRLs and NTs performed during that year.
Many labs have an arrangement with the FMF to provide the required
information automatically. You will still need to send in 5 images
for each person seeking re-accreditation once per year.
There is no fee for remaining accredited with the Fetal Medicine Foundation.
Assuming all the information is in order, your license/accreditation
will be renewed for a year. If the images and/or data file indicates
that the technique may have drifted off, the license will be renewed
for 6 months during which time Cathy Downing will work with you to
correct any problems.
